Abril Cisneros Ramírez
Abril Cisneros Ramírez is a curator based in The Netherlands. Her practice investigates the potential of interdisciplinary methodologies to approach contemporary art and broaden interpretive possibilities, with research interests including non-western epistemologies, the dynamics and impact of independent art spaces, and, more expansively, politically engaged culture and performance. She is as a curator at The Balcony (The Hague) and a curator-in-training at the Van Abbemuseum (Eindhoven). Abril holds a BA in Art History from Leiden University and is a 2024 Fundación Botín scholar pursuing an MA in Curating at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Her recent work has been featured by institutions such as the Nasher Sculpture Center (Dallas) and Meno Parkas Gallery (Lithuania).
