Sofía Acosta Varea
Sofía Acosta Varea is a visual artist. Her work encompasses an interdisciplinary practice that includes installations, the intervention of photographs, archives, cartographies and testimonies, and the use of graphics and murals. Her work is an aesthetic-political commitment that, on the one hand, questions established gender narratives and, on the other hand, explores a post-extractivist artistic practice, putting contemporary notions of territory into debate.
