La Confederación Internacional se complace en publicar su declaración de misión revisada.
L’Internationale es una confederación de museos, organizaciones artísticas y universidades cuyo propósito es reimaginar, rearticular y poner en práctica formas de internacionalismo, solidaridad y comunalidad, siempre desde el respeto a nuestras diferencias.
L’Internationale opera en clave transnacional a través de prácticas artísticas, programación, colecciones, archivos, investigación, trabajo editorial y formas de institucionalidad.
L’Internationale rechaza el fascismo, el extractivismo y el neocolonialismo, buscando confrontarlos desde el ámbito cultural.
L’Internationale imagina un mundo donde quepan muchos mundos. Un mundo en que las posiciones culturales y geopolíticas europeas pierden su centralidad y nuestras esferas públicas pueden ser transformadas.
L’Internationale cree que las instituciones deben estar situadas en su contexto local para poder responder y contribuir a las comunidades, historias y ecosistemas en los que se insertan.
L’Internationale se compromete con el cuidado de un planeta habitable impulsando prácticas sostenibles y cambios infraestructurales dentro del ecosistema cultural.
L’Internationale se guía por los principios de los comunes: nuestro objetivo es promover la horizontalidad entre instituciones y como confederación, compartiendo recursos colectivos con nuestras comunidades.
