Catherine Morland

Catherine Morland is an artist, gardener, curator and educator based in London. Her practice lies in the intersection of art and horticulture. She was curator of The Commons – Re-Enchanting the World at the Museum of English Rural Life, Reading, UK (2021–22) and Performing the Commons at Celsius Projects, Malmö, Sweden (2023). She works with plants and plant fibres using traditional weaving and basketry techniques usually associated with women’s labour to make installations and collaborative work exploring the connections between humans and plants.
