Fran MM Cabeza de Vaca

Fran MM Cabeza De Vaca is a composer, sound artist and music teacher. He has premiered instrumental and electroacoustic music in many international festivals and participated as a composer and performer in multiple performance projects. He is an active member of the Transfeminist Fanfare in Madrid. After almost two decades as a high school music teacher in public schools, since September 2018 he has coordinated the Communities Section of the Education Department of the Museo Reina Sofía. In February 2024, he was appointed Head of the Education Department. Among other publications, he has co-edited From/To. Letters From/To the Constituent Museum (L'internationale, 2022) and is the author, together with María Andueza, of the book A long echo. Learning and actions from sound creation (Consorci de Museus de la Comunitat Valenciana, 2023). He is a member of the Editorial Board of L’Internationale Online.
